CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
4th Annual IEEE Tabletops and interactive Surfaces (TIS) Conference
November 23-25, 2009
Banff, Alberta, in Western Canada
------------------------------------------------------------------
The IEEE Tabletops and interactive Surfaces (TIS) Conference is a premier
venue for presenting research in the design and use of new and emerging
tabletop and interactive surface technologies. As a new community, we
embrace the growth of the discipline in a wide variety of areas, including
innovations in TIS hardware, software, interaction design, and studies
expanding our understanding of design considerations of TIS technologies and
of their applications in modern society.
Based on the overwhelming success of the previous Tabletop/TIS workshops,
TIS 2009 is introducing some new forums, including invited Tutorials and
Interactive Posters.
TIS 2009 will bring together top researchers and practitioners who are
interested in both the technical and human aspects of TIS technology. On
behalf of the conference organizing committee, we invite you to begin
planning your submissions and participation for this year's conference!
